The Dirtbombs w/ The Lamps & The Black Lips @ The Independent    Our first of five Noisepop shows couldn't have started off better! The Lamps were entertaining & silly, The Black Lips ROCKED - I loved their set & can't wait to see them again and/or get their CD and The Dirtbombs... oh MAN!!! Misty had said they were fun to see live & she wasn't kidding. They are on fire! TWO drum kits & TWO bass players, hot damn! They've got this Detroit garage rock sound, but with so much soul & funk. Nobody in the audience was standing still, because you just couldn't help it, it was so fun!
